INTRODUCTION

Known worldwide for its red rock beauty, the communities of Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek sit in the heart of central Arizona, 120 miles north of Phoenix and 30 miles south of Flagstaff, at an altitude of 4,200 feet above sea level. With over 3 million annual visitors, the area is the second most frequently visited attraction in Arizona, greater than Scottsdale and second only to the nearby Grand Canyon.

Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek enjoy four delightfully mild seasons, and this combined with the breathtaking natural beauty of the red rocks, clean air, and water have created a natural and cultural mecca, which continually attracts artist, writers, entrepreneurs, and retirees, in addition to tourists.

Big Park Water Company (BPWC), located in the Village of Oak Creek, was organized in February 1968 to provide water utilities for the Village of Oak Creek located immediately south of Sedona, Arizona. Big Park Water Company is the principal provider of water utility service in the Village of Oak Creek.
